It appears to me that unfortunately, you appear to be elitists. So to my mind, this is not a suitable forum for Newbies to ask basic questions. I could not find any suitable answers (including spurious "bug reports"). Yes, I did my best to research my question on this forum first before posting. I apologize if I asked a question that had previously been resolved under another topic or thread. Thanks to Google I was able to resolve my problem with no thanks to this community and no acknowledgement of my question. With Mint, you have the future between your tails and it appears that you are unwilling to share.
